Discover Our Story

Where it began

Keriyan Holistic Charity Organization grew from a simple commitment to help people in need. Since around 2010, founder and coordinator Jebesa Sefera Degaga has been involved in supporting vulnerable children and communities in Ethiopia.

What began as personal and community-based assistance gradually developed into a broader vision: creating an organization that can provide consistent, transparent, and meaningful support to children, families, and communities.

Education became one of the central priorities because a school uniform, a book, or a simple school bag can mean much more than a material gift—it can help a child attend school with dignity and hope.

Today, Keriyan is working toward becoming a formally organized Ethiopian charitable organization, while continuing its practical support for vulnerable children.

Our vision is simple: to help people move from vulnerability toward opportunity, dignity, and a better future.
